Our social nights are getting a new splash of colour with the return of yet another fan favorite. Our Games Nights are making a triumphant return, but you may have noticed they only launch on a bi-monthly basis. That’s because, in the months in between, we’re relaunching our Paint & Sip!
Are you a creative feeling stifled or suffering art block? Maybe you’re someone who doesn’t get the chance to express themselves due to just how busy you are. Whether you’re an avid painter or someone who hasn’t touched a paint brush since art class back in school, Paint & Sip is your time to let your hair down and flex those creative muscles.
Paint and What?
Paint & Sip Night is very simple. You purchase a ticket, walk in, grab some paint, a canvas to use it on, some wine to free your mind and you paint! Similar to Games Night, it’s a social event so you’ll be painting and interacting with other folks throughout the night. It’s a great place for artists to meet and collaborate while also being a safe place for non-artists to let out their colorful sides.
We will also be providing prompts and guidance to any of our attendees in need of a little inspiration. While our Paint & Sips will usually have themes, there’s nothing stopping you from going ahead and doing your own thing. And no matter what, we’re here to provide you with the tools you need, be it brushes, easels, even spoons!
Paint & Sip is an opportunity for everyone to step away and just relax. There’s no expectation for you to be extra or competitive, no pressure to be ‘good’ at painting or to create a masterpiece out of nothing. It’s just a space for you to come and build a little something for you. And you’re not alone. You’ll be with others who are just here for the love of the art and to enjoy each other’s company. If you haven’t taken the time to flex your imagination, this is a great opportunity for you to indulge your inner spark.
Art and painting is one of those things you can’t make a mistake in. So long as you’re expressing yourself and having a fun time, it doesn’t matter if you’re not painting like Van Gogh. And even if painting isn’t quite your thing, that’s okay too. You can sip wine and go wild on your canvas or focus on engaging with your fellow attendees.
Our Paint & Sips will be happening bi-monthly, starting from February and continuing on until the end of the year. On top of that, all of your paintings are yours and yours only. You can choose to show us, you can choose to keep it private. It’s up to you. If you decide to join us for each event, you might be finishing the year with your own personal gallery of homemade art!
Drinks and snacks will be provided, alongside the tools. We offer a variety of brushes, paint colors and tools, though the paint will be acrylics only (a very forgiving paint for beginners). Alongside painting supplies, you will be situated in an air-con environment with lots of elbow room, mood music and staff on hand to provide you with our best service.
Art is for everyone, both to enjoy and to create. Even if its abstract, comic art, landscape, portraits or just mixing and matching colors to make a kaleidoscope, your unique vision is welcome.
Our First Paint and Sip of the Year!
We’ve already had a Paint and Sip this year. Except this one was a very special Valentines Edition, fit for couples and those looking to do something fun with a partner. While it was a Valentines day event, we encouraged the pairs present to paint something that reminds them of their partner, whether it’s romantic or platonic. We got several couples come in and express themselves through the medium of painting with such lovely and vivid creations.
With templates provided by us, our lovely guests only had to focus on bringing their artistic vision to life. Which they did marvelously with the aid both their partners and the staff. We are always on hand to give you tips, help you if you’re stuck or just want advice on how to continue.
Because that’s what Paint and Sip is all about. Self expression, relaxation and just having a chill, mellow time.
And so now, we’ve got a brand new Paint and Sip coming your way! This one is for everyone who’s interested, not limited to couples and reduced in ticket price to allow anyone to participate. Painting is a very relaxing hobby, one that you can easily pick up and become quite good at. Because the only thing you need to be good at painting, is to have fun.
